Jane Smiley on "Why Americans Hate Democrats"

She calls it a dialog, but it seems to me more like a good, old fashioned frothing rant. We'll read lots more similar stuff if Barack Obama doesn't whip John McCain.

It's from 2004, but like all classics, it's timeless.
