Potassium Iodide (KI) is a safe and effective over-the-counter drug that blocks the uptake of radioactive iodine into the thyroid.
Calcium-DTPA and Zinc-DTPA Information
Calcium-DTPA (Ca-DTPA) and Zinc-DTPA (Zn-DTPA) are safe and effective for the treatment of internal contamination with plutonium, americium, or curium to increase the rates of elimination of these substances from the body.
Prussian Blue Information
Radiogardase, also known as Prussian blue, is safe and effective for the treatment of exposure to radiation contamination due to harmful levels of cesium-137 or thallium.
