Fascism, Thy Modern American Face is the Democratic Party

Back to the Chick-fil-A scandal, in which the mayors of Chicago, Boston and San Francisco declared that in the cause of tolerance, due to the owner's religious beliefs, the comapny had no place in their cities.

Here is a scan of the official letter sent by City Council Speaker Christine Quinn to John Sexton, President of New York University, which is landlord to the only Chick-fil-A in New York City.

Unconstitutional? Of course. Does a high level politician of one of the major parties care about the constitution?

Of course not. Constitutions, like laws, are for the little people.

So far as I know, not a single Democrat has called them out on it, so fascism seems well-embedded in the Democratic Party. In the name of tolerance, of course.
