MoveOn.org Petition: Arrest GOP Leaders for Sedition

As a couple mere bloggers have commented: Think seriously about what the Left wants. They want it for you. MoveOn people are part of the Democrat movement. They want the government to arrest political leaders exercising their Constitutionally derived authority.
A petition on the MoveOn.org website is calling for the Department of Justice to arrest some House Republican leaders for their roles in the government shutdown and debt-ceiling debates.

The petition singles out Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) and House majority leader Eric Cantor (R-Va.), as well as “other decision-making House Republican leaders,” for the crime of “seditious conspiracy against the United States of America.”
Jonathan Easley has more at The Hill.

It has gotten 29,000 signatures and counting. Thus go the Dems when it come to Valuing Diversity. And Tolerance, of course. We must never forget they are exemplars of Tolerance.
(The) attempt to extort the United States government into altering or abolishing the Affordable Care Act...is self-evidently a seditious conspiracy. Arrest the perpetrators in Congress immediately and bring them to justice,” the petition reads.

Makes me feel all warm and fuzzy toward the Bill of Rights: They can use their 1st Amendment rights to call for arrests, and if they ever get enough power to act, their victims have the 2nd Amendment ability to defend themselves.
