From Honolulu to LAX

Georgia O'Keefe clouds,
a floor of complex cotton balls
in lines as far as I could see
bumping against each other
on a pale blue field.

Wishbones and columns,
attenuated fish hooks in rows
to the glowing white horizon.
Darker blue above cut by
the sharp trailing edge of the white wing.

Further apart now in lines
like the waves below.
