Department of Justice and Democrat Collusion?

I hope not. Still...

The administration official calling House Oversight Committee Chairman Darrell Issa’s (R-Calif.) office last week had an odd request.

Could the Justice Department get some help leaking information about the IRS’s scrutiny of conservative groups? asked Brian Fallon, a top spokesman for Attorney General Eric Holder.

Apparently thinking he had reached the office of Democratic Rep. Elijah Cummings (Md.), Fallon said the department wanted congressional staffers to get documents to selected reporters so that officials could comment on them “before the majority” did.
Hmmm....

Obama's DHS Partners With The Drug Cartels?

Well, for certain limited purposes, in a way.

Apparently for furthering the goal of smuggling minor children into the US.

I can understand and even applaud reuniting small children with their parents, but they should then be thrown out of the country.

Since the Obama administration holds the laws of the US and the US Constitution in utter contempt, I see no reason to be surprised by this new revelation. Since Eric Holder controls the Department of 'Justice', I am satisfied that nothing will be done about any violations.

Except, of course, continue to reward them.

In His Own Hand-writing, Obama Refers to Tea Partiers as "Tea Baggers"

He didn't write that letter, someone else wrote that letter.

And no one is more angry about it than he is.

As the Emperor Stompy Foot the First has said many times: "If you like your tea bag, you can keep your tea bag. Period."

The Incompetence of Barack Obama

Have you been following the Saga of the Emperor Stompy Foot the First as he wends his way through the Darks Woods of Responsibility for ObamaCare?

Walter Russell Mead on the most shocking aspect of Obama's press conference on the failed rollout of ObamaCare:
As more people reflect on the President’s extraordinary press conference, the public sense that the President and his team just aren’t up to the job will inevitably grow. It was a jaw dropping moment of naked self revelation, and the more one reflects on it the more striking it becomes. The President of the United States didn’t know that his major domestic priority wasn’t ready for prime time—and he thinks that sharing this news with us will somehow make it better. It is moments of this kind that give epithets like “Carteresque” their sting.
Except, of course, that Jimmy Carter arrived in the White House having management experience as Governor of Georgia.

It really is kind of amazing, and pathetic at the same time, that Obama thinks that telling us that he was clueless makes it all better.

Emperor Stompy Foot the First: "My incompetence excuses me from responsibility."

And "we" are just now finding out that buying insurance is complicated?

Yes: 'Pathetic' is a correct term.

Obama is pathetic. Dangerously so.

Why The ObamaCare Website Is A Disaster

The answer may be as simple as this: President Obama directed the political staff to implement a massively complex technical system.

According to Amy Goldstein and Juliet Eilperin in the Washington Post:
On one side, members of the economic team and Obama health-care adviser Zeke Emanuel lobbied for the president to appoint an outside health reform “czar” with expertise in business, insurance and technology. On the other, the president’s top health aides — who had shepherded the legislation through its tortuous path on Capitol Hill and knew its every detail — argued that they could handle the job.
So:
“They were running the biggest start-up in the world, and they didn’t have anyone who had run a start-up, or even run a business"...there was no single administrator whose full-time job was to manage the project.
That last is truly stunning. The Washington Post must be kidding, right? A part-timer to set up the ObamaCare website?

Ah, the Republicans were the fault. So the debacle is due to the Tea Party anarchists, as Harry Reid likes to call them.

Good for them.

Summing Up the Obama Political Philosophy

“After we win this election, it’s our turn. Payback time,” warned Valerie Jarrett, Mr. Obama’s longtime senior adviser. “Everyone not with us is against us, and they better be ready because we don’t forget. The ones who helped us will be rewarded, the ones who opposed us will get what they deserve. There is going to be hell to pay.”
Really, now, why would anyone have ever thought anything would be different from this after making the most successful member of the Mayor Daley Chicago Political Machine the President of the United States? Is there a member of the Administration who does not belong in prison?

For the whole column by Dr. Milton R. Wolfe, clik here.

IRS: "The Next Shoe"?

Did Lois Lerner, Director of Exempt Organizations in the Tax Exempt and Government Entities (TEGE) division of the IRS use her position to protect HSUS? Maybe, maybe not.

I hope there will be some responsible follow up on this tho.

Thanks to CLK for the lead.

Obama & the IRS: Smoking Gun?

I have no opinion about the reliability of this story, and it certainly isn't conclusive, but it is an interesting datum.

I do find it a little hard to believe that the IRS employees' union could move so swiftly though.
